Dial a Nerd is excited to announce some great new products aimed specifically at home users.
After 6 years of providing our Unlimited Telephonic and Remote support solution for the small business market, we have decided that we are going to launch it to the home market. This kind of support has removed the anxiety of an unknown and potentially escalating IT bill for our contract customers and after so many years of providing it successfully (and with the rollout of FTTH), we have decided its time to roll it out to our home customers. Launching on the 1st of November, Dial a Nerd will be selling an Unlimited Telephonic and Remote support contract to homes. You read it here first. We hope that it removes the anxiety of home users and allows them to trust our Nerds on the Service Desk to do their jobs and help you over the phone, or log in to your home machine to resolve the problem. We’ll be launching this on our website and through some other social media channels, so look out for it, and sign up!
We have found a wonderful HOME FIREWALL that we are proud to support and take to market. We’ve been focused on this requirement for almost two years now and are somewhat constrained by the local availability of proper hardware solutions, but have found a partner that has also been invested in finding a solution and are ready to bring it to the market together.

We are still finalising costs but it is essentially a monthly remote support contract. That is only telephonic support to our desk. Any support such as call-outs and walk-ins to our front office are not included. Interestingly majority of problems can be sorted out telephonically which makes the product work for individual users.
When will you get the costs finalised?
The official launch is 1st November.
