At an exclusive event that took place on 24 August 2016, at Gallagher Estate, Microsoft South Africa announced the winners and finalists of the Microsoft 2016 Partner of the Year Awards. These annual awards celebrate and recognise top Microsoft partners who demonstrate excellence in innovation and demonstrate a commitment to excellence when it comes to customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.
This year, Microsoft SA acknowledged partners in 20 categories, with each of the core partner competencies being covered by a category including cloud and data centre technology and many more.
“The 2016 Partner of the Year Award winners and finalists represent the most innovative and transformative work being done across our partner community,” said Zoaib Hoosen, MD of Microsoft SA. “It is important to recognise and celebrate the value and opportunity these solutions create for our mutual customers. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and finalists on this tremendous achievement.”
The award finalists and winners were selected based on their commitment to customers, their solution’s impact on the local software market and their exemplary use of Microsoft technologies and solutions.
Dial a Nerd won, after years of effort, a coveted Microsoft Partner Award. The Microsoft Partner Awards recognise partners in South Africa that have excelled in delivering Microsoft solutions. They also celebrate successes related to partner capabilities, cloud transformation, entrepreneurial spirit and customer feedback. Dial a Nerd has worked hard for this achievement and has previously only reached finalist stages.
This year’s conference specifically focuses on accelerating Digital Transformation for the year to come between Microsoft and leading partners.
