Ex Machina is one of the most accurate films ever made about AI — not because of its technology, but because of its power dynamics.

What All These Films Get Right (Together) 

Across genres and decades, the same themes keep appearing:

  • Most risk comes from design and oversight — not intelligence 

This is why real-world technology success depends less on cutting-edge tools and more on how systems are implemented, supported, and understood.
